Russian Ambassador in Chad has visited the site of GPB Chad Minerals
On December 17-19, 2013 H.E. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in the Republic of Chad Mr. Vladimir Prygin visited the region of Mayo-Kebbi-Ouest. During his visit he held a meeting with local authorities and Mr. Ivan Sheenko, Director of GPB Chad Minerals SARL (GPB Global Resources Group).
In February 2012 H.E. General Idriss Déby Itno, President of the Republic of Chad, signed a decree which enacts the License Agreement granted to GPB Chad Minerals SARL to perform exploration works at the site near the locality of Ganboke.
Within a year and half since the launch of the project GPB Chad Minerals SARL has opened an office in N’Djamena and a geological base near the town of Pala. Russian and Chad specialists have been prospecting for gold, performing active field works (trenching, sampling, core drilling operations).
Ambassador Prygin made a tour of the site near the geological base of GPB Chad Minerals SARL and received an extensive presentation on the course of the project. After the visit H.E. Mr. Prygin congratulated Mr. Sheenko on the project results achieved and wished continued success to the leading Russian investment project in Chad.
GPB Global Resources Group is an international group of companies, engaged in petroleum and mineral resource projects in various parts of the globe, including Africa, South America, and the Middle East. Today it operates in Chad, Mali, Niger, and Venezuela.
